This Guide talks about Course Evaluations including how students will be reminded to complete them and how to view your Course Evaluation results.
General Information about Course Evaluations
In every Brightspace course, students will have access to a Course Evaluation link. This link is present in Week 11 of a 12-week course, and in Week 9 of a 10-week course. This evaluation gives students an opportunity to share their thoughts on the course, Brightspace, and course instruction.
Completed course evaluations help Saint Joseph's College improve online courses, identify training needs, and provide valuable feedback. Please remind and encourage your students to complete the Course Evaluations. There are a couple of easy ways to remind students: a reminder in News Item area and/or emailing your Classlist.

Why Would I want to View Course Evaluations Results?
Feedback through the Course Evaluations helps faculty, online staff, and course developers continue to offer quality courses to our students, make improvements, and inform training needs. We highly recommend viewing your course evaluation results, and please do not hesitate to reach out to asktei@sjcme.edu with any questions.
How Do I View Course Evaluation Results?
You will receive an email with a link to the course evaluation results but you can also view the results in either a PDF format or Excel spreadsheet right in Brightspace. Watch the following video or view the PDF in the Written Instructions box on the right-hand side of the page to learn more.

How Will Students be Notified to Complete the Course Evaluation Survey?
For each course, students will receive an emailed notification letting them know that Course Evaluations are open along with the date the survey closes.
Students will also receive emailed reminders, but we recommend faculty remind students to complete the surveys as well.
