Sometimes you will have a long presentation to record. If you expect your presentation to include stops and starts while recording, or you may need to pause to look at your notes, or you expect you will stumble over your words and want to edit mistakes without starting over, then recording multiple small videos might be the best option for you. Once you are finished, you can use this guide on video and audio editing software to stitch everything together.

You can create a video recording of your webcam using several options below. This method is useful if you need a video file longer than the sizes available with Brightspace, or want to eventually edit together multiple files for a larger and more involved project (See Creating a Video with Pre-Recorded Files).
