Audio/Video Presentation Support: Recording Audio Files

A guide to assist students in utilizing Brightspace and third party tools available for creating audio and video presentations.

What Projects Would You Use This For?

Sometimes you just need to create a simple audio journal or blog. Other projects might require you to record audio that you will then overlay onto a video. Using the software below, you can create audio tracks that can be submitted to Brightspace, edited or overlaid with a video.

Suggested projects:

- Audio Journals.

- Audio to be overlaid with video.

Third Party Audio Recording Software

You can create an audio recording using several options below. This method is useful if you need an audio file longer than the sizes available with Brightspace, or want to eventually edit your audio into a larger and more involved project (See Creating a Video with Pre-Recorded Files).
