Brightspace Support: Discussions

I've been asked to create a discussion board post and reply to a post. How do I do this?

The Discussions tool is a collaboration area to post, read and reply to threads on different topics.

• A forum is used to house discussion topics that are similar.
• A topic is where you can add threads in response to a discussion prompt.
• A thread is an initial posts added to a discussion topic.
• A reply is a response posted to a specific discussion thread.
